KEVIN EWERT

Kevin teaches theatre at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.  Recent productions there include The Seagull, Oh, The Humanity, An Enemy of the People, Metamorphoses, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Lear and a site-specific Evening of Stories by Edgar Allan Poe. For many years he was General Manager and Artistic Associate with Unseam’d Shakespeare in Pittsburgh, PA, where productions included Women Beware Women, The Libertine and Coriolanus. In Durham, he has directed The Pillowman, Age of Arousal, Buddy Cop 2, (Manbites Dog). He is one of the Series Editors for Palgrave’s The Shakespeare Handbooks: Shakespeare’s Contemporaries, and is currently working on a book for the Shakespeare In Practice series on Shakespeare and Directing.
